MAY 2011 {project 365}

May, you were absolutely beautiful. We spent most of our days enjoying the backyard, basking in the sunlight, & dreaming of what the future has to bring. The entire month was rather uneventful, however, in a perfectly relaxed way. You know, the rapture was predicted to happen this month; I'll be honest with you, we are glad it didn't. Now, if you would have been March that may have been a different story. May, you were a great beginning to an even better summer.

APRIL 2011 {project 365}

April has been as confused as March; one day the sun is shining & we are running around in skirts & shorts - the next we have our hats & coats on trudging through inches of snow. We took full advantage of each day, going out when it's warm, and cozying up & crafting together when it's cold. Daycen even came within a few inches of Ripsi - talk about cozy!! Overall, April wasn't so terrible.

APRIL showers (of snow?) bring MAY flowers?! We dearly hope so!

MARCH 2011 {project 365}

The hardest month for our little family is FINALLY past us. We can now look forward to a wonderful spring, & making beautiful memories together in the next coming months. We did not welcome March, & it wasn't very friendly to us as well. We had lots of snow, rain, & gloomy weather which matched our moods most of the days. However, some days shown through, & were brighter than bright! We survived a year since we lost our beloved First Avenue, & our home was surely not forgotten this year by many.

I hope someday, March, we can be friends again. Honestly, you are the crappiest month of the year with your bipolar weather & urge to fight off Spring. If you change your attitude, perhaps next year we'll change ours.

March, good riddance. April, WELCOME! There is no fooling that we are thrilled to have you join us!

FEBRUARY 2011 {project 365}

The month of love has passed us (not that we don't love all year long!). This year we covered each other with warm hugs, & soft kisses. Aripsimae started to giggle, & Daycen began to realize making her giggle was fun! We indulged in the sweetest treats, many of those were shaped in hearts. The weather got warm, than turned around into a foot of snow. We tried to escape it, but it is true, we live in the upper midwest - it's still partially winter. Many days were spend cuddling, fighting off running noses & hoarse coughs.

February you were SO good to us.

March, I've been dreading you all year long. We aren't ready for you, but we haven't much of a choice. It's time to face the future while dealing with the past.

JANUARY 2011 {project 365}

January was a blissful month. Even though it is known as one of the coldest months of the year, we made sure it wasn't cold around our house. It was filled with lots of sunshine, tons of smiles, visits from friends we haven't seen in awhile, progress toward more beautiful things, & most of all a lot of quality family time.
